David Tanner can’t help himself when it comes to talking about Celtic.
His clear Rangers bias and anti-Celtic sentiment seeps out of Tanner as the pain of watching his Ibrox team struggle year on year causes the talkSPORT man pain.
After watching Rangers drop more points at Hibs, Tanner raged as VAR did its job correctly and didn’t award a Rangers ‘goal’ as images were unclear over whether or not the ball crossed the line.
The decision caused former Rangers man John Brown to have a live TV meltdown and now, it’s the turn of Tanner to give Celtic fans a laugh.

Tanner tried to look impartial as he took to social media to express his rage at the Easter Road decision.
Tanner said on X, “It’s very simple. Every ground should have TV cameras on the goal line. It is beyond preposterous that money isn’t invested in this most crucial angle.
“And goal line technology is not new. It’s all affordable. *I said the same after the Alistair Johnston cross at the same ground.”
The flaw in Tanner’s plan? Goal line technology would not have made a blind bit of difference at Celtic’s disallowed goal at Hibs because it wouldn’t have covered the area of the pitch where Alistair Johnston made the cross for Daizen Maeda.
Nice try David. C- minus, at least, for effort.
