The Leeds United left-back is unsure where his fortunes lie this summer, as after it was destined that Firpo would join Real Betis, the Spanish side denied any claims of that happening.
This leaves fans pondering whether the 28-year-old will actually depart Elland Road this window.

Well this could be a possibility, but Betis weren’t the only club keen on Firpo, as now Lazio have shown an interest.
Along with Lazio, there is Barcelona who want to reunite with Firpo but the Italian side’s pursuit seems more concrete and it certainly is after a fresh update.
The Print Edition of Corriere dello Sport (22/05/25) reports that Firpo has been offered to Lazio by his agency, and a ‘meeting’ held last Thursday was to discuss the possibility of signing him.
Firpo is being proposed around Europe by his agents and it does seem like a matter of time before someone pins down his signature.

With Lazio now the frontrunners in signing Firpo this summer, the left-back could find himself on the European stage.
This will of course, sway his preference, but he might not be ready to let go of his love for the Whites just yet.
Over the last few weeks, Firpo has been in contract talks with Leeds, and with a decision yet to come to fruition, it could be a positive that maybe, just maybe the left-back will stay.
But the talks taking place clearly indicate that Daniel Farke and the board are willing to retain Firpo, and it could ultimately be a hands-off warning to Lazio, who look very keen at the moment.
