The Toffees are free to spend this summer after having to endure the last few years without making any major signings.

PSR has been a nightmare for Everton, but they are now finally over it and David Moyes is now looking to add more quality to his squad. One player Moyes is interested in signing is Jack Grealish.
The 29-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at Manchester City and looks like he will need to move elsewhere if he wants to play consistent football.
Grealish was omitted by Guardiola for the Club World Cup, only fueling the talk of his exit even more. However, a big problem for any deal seems to be his wage. Grealish earns £300,000-a-week at Man City, a wage very few Premier League clubs will be able to afford.

Jack Grealish to Everton is a real possibility after Man City snub
Grealish joining Everton has been labelled as doubtful in recent days, but fans were told to never say never over a potential deal this summer.
Everton are also linked with Richarlison, the former Toffee’s game time was slashed in the 2024/25 campaign, sparking rumours that he may look for a way out this summer.
A Champions League winner, Grealish will surely expect to play in the competition on a yearly basis, but Everton News have been told that the Toffees should not be ruled out in the race to sign him.
“Jack Grealish’s future is very much up in the air – but a deal for him is very difficult,” Bailey said.
“Everton are one of the clubs that has an interest in him, but as said the deal is not straightforward.
“Grealish is the highest paid English player in the Premier League – over £300,000-a-week – what would and could Everton afford, maybe half at best – but who covers the rest.
“City know they will need to cover some wages, so it is not impossible – indeed, a loan with an option makes things plausible and the chance to stay in the North West, I wouldn’t rule Everton out.
“They are still in the market for a Richarlison, so imagine him and Grealish heading into the new stadium – would raise a few eyebrows for sure.”
With Everton able to pay a good chunk of his wages, they must come to an amicable agreement with Man City if he is to join.

Pep Guardiola thinks Everton-linked Jack Grealish is outstanding
Despite the links to Everton, Gabby Agbonlahor thinks Grealish should leave England and play his football in a European country like Germany or Italy.
Should he move to the Serie A, Grealish would be following in the footsteps of teammate Kyle Walker, who moved to AC Milan in the January transfer window.
Although he has been shunned by Guardiola, the Spaniard still has high praise for Grealish, and even called him ‘outstanding’ in an interview after an FA Cup win in February.
Speaking to Manchester City’s media in February, Guardiola said: “Both wingers have been outstanding; Savinho and Jack were outstanding, they created chances.
“I’m pleased for Jack. Jack has the sense of the street, a player from the street. Most of the players, for our fault – the manager – are so academic.
“Jack is one of those players that came to fight in these stadiums when the people shout; he is a fighter.
“I am really pleased because the last games he didn’t play because Savinho in the last games make an incredible connection with Erling [Haaland] for his left foot but this season is still open. I’m happy for the performance.”
