Over a week into the transfer window, and Leeds United look to have a busy summer ahead. The club has identified a few players they want to move on from.
Just last week, reports claimed that Illan Meslier was being offered to multiple clubs in order to sort out a move. Leeds have also declared the trio of Joe Gelhardt, Darko Gyabi and Sam Greenwood for sale.
The future of Jack Harrison is also up in the air, with many believing he will also be on his way out soon.

Max Wober speaks on Leeds United future

Now, there is a new surprising development at Elland Road. Defender Max Wober is now the latest name to be added to potential exits. The 27-year old made his first start since January in Austria’s win over Romania in their 2026 World Cup qualifier.
It was his words post-match that drew the most attention; Wober revealed that the Whites are actively trying to sell him:
“Leeds has already made it clear to me that they want to sell me,” he said, speaking to Austrian outlet Krone.
“I might have been able to send out a letter of application [with his display against Romania]. It was simply a good feeling to be back on the pitch and show that I can still play well, and that I definitely deserve to be here. I was extremely pleased that I was able to show other clubs that I’m fit, that I’m still a really good player, and that I don’t want to just rot away in England.”
Wober sale is probably the right decision
Since the Austrian returned from injury early in the year, Daniel Farke has been reluctant to use him. This probably indicated that the writing was on the wall for the defender. With multiple new names being linked, it is very likely that Wober will be replaced this summer, after losing out on his place in the line up.
