Lukas Nmecha’s career in numbers after Man City breakthrough
Hamburg-born Nmecha came through the ranks at Man City from the age of nine, and eventually making three senior appearances for City before finally leaving Pep Guardiola’s side in the summer of 2021.
Nmecha left City on loan four times before his permanent exit, joining the likes of Preston, Wolfsburg, Middlesbrough and Anderlecht. His 21 goals in 42 Anderlecht games convinced Wolfsburg to sign him.
