‘West Ham submitting Hamza Igamane offer after transfer mission’
West Ham are ready to submit an offer for Rangers star Hamza Igamane during the summer transfer window, according to their former scout.
Mick Brown, who also worked as the chief scout at Man United and Blackburn and remains very well-connected at his former clubs, exclusively told Football Insider that the Hammers’ scouts have been watching the 22-year-old this season.

However, there are concerns about whether he is ready to make the step up to Premier League football as Graham Potter’s first-choice centre-forward.
Football Insider exclusively revealed on 16 June that West Ham and Everton are interested in Igamane and could take a “gamble” on his signature this summer.
Alongside the doubts about his ability to perform at the top level, there is also a recognition of his talent and the upside should he hit the ground running in England.
West Ham’s interest comes after Brown told Football Insider on 27 May that West Ham want to sign a new striker amid interest in Roma’s Tammy Abraham.

West Ham could sign Hamza Igamane after Rangers decision
Brown told Football Insider in January that Rangers could accept “huge” offers for Igamane as a number of clubs have been keeping tabs on his progress.
The former scout, who has a wealth of experience in top-level player recruitment after over a decade at Man United during their most successful period, insisted that West Ham’s interest for Igamane is not advanced at this stage.
“West Ham are about make a formal move for Igamane,” he told Football Insider.
“They’ve had scouts up there watching him and he’s one of the names on their radar.
“But I’m told they’re not convinced he’s ready to make the step up to the Premier League.
“He’s looked impressive for Rangers at times, but he’s playing in a side which finished 17 points short of Celtic, so it’s a difficult one to judge.
“They’ll be looking at the scouts’ reports and comparing him to other options.
“Then, it could depend on the price, whether the other options are available, whether they saw things they don’t like when they were watching him, all of this.
“We know Potter wants to sign a new forward, but whether he fits the bill is uncertain.
“The decision has to be made based on everything they know about him.”

Celtic plot move to sign Andy Ivring after London Stadium latest
While speculation continues over a deal between West Ham and Rangers, there is interest from the other side of Glasgow in signing Andy Irving.
Brown told Football Insider on 17 June that Celtic will accelerate their efforts to sign Irving this summer as the Hammers are prepared to cash in.
The one-cap Scotland international made just 11 appearances across all competitions for West Ham this season, and is believed to be open to a return to his home country.
Brown told Football Insider that Celtic are prepared to back Brendan Rodgers in the market as he aims to strengthen his squad ahead of their return to the Champions League.
