However, there may already be some who have their eyes on the January transfer market with a lot left to be desired from the opening games.
Although more quality may be desired by most Everton fans, there are also some players who may be looking for an answer on their future.
Everton did allow the likes of Amadou Onana to leave the club over the summer and there may well have been some other players hoping for moves of their own.

What Everton are going to do with Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Over the summer, Dominic Calvert-Lewin was heavily linked with a move away from Goodison Park.
Even the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal were showing an interest in Calvert-Lewin who is now in the final year of his deal.
And then there was the interest earlier in the window in Calvert-Lewin from Newcastle United who were seriously keen on the striker.

According to the Daily Mail, Everton could now be willing to allow Calvert-Lewin to depart Merseyside in the January window.
The striker is now into the final 12 months on his deal which will leave January as Everton’s final opportunity to land some cash for him.
It is claimed there has been a new deal on the table for the former England international over the summer but he has not inked it.
What Everton could now recoup for Calvert-Lewin will remain to be seen with the striker in the final months of his deal and not exactly in his best form.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin may have to settle for backup striker
Some of the clubs listed as being interested in the ‘fantastic‘ Calvert-Lewin over the summer may potentially still be interested in him come January.
However, what role they could offer him in their squad may be an interesting factor as to who he could well end up at.
Even with a side like Newcastle, Calvert-Lewin would not arrive as the starting striker given the form Alexander Isak has shown in the Premier League.
But if the Everton man is willing to accept a downgraded role then it just goes to show how desperate he must be to depart Merseyside with a new contract still on offer.
