Dan Bardell believes Sean Dyche has a lack of authority at Everton after spotting Idrissa Gueye ignoring his instructions during a match.

The Toffees have thrown away potential wins in their last four games in all competitions with the Premier League draw against Leicester City being the latest.

This has seen Dyche come under fire for his side’s performances, especially in the second halves of games where things have gone wrong.

Sky Sports and talkSPORT journalist Bardell has revealed something he has spotted which points towards the dressing room losing respect for the manager.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Bardell said: “What alarmed me at Everton when I’ve watched them is Dyche and the players’ body language.

“Against Aston Villa, Dyche was going mad on the sidelines at times, there was a moment where he really lost his cool with Idrissa Gueye but it didn’t feel like there was any authority there.

“It was almost like he didn’t care, he was shrugging his shoulders and brushing off what Dyche was saying to him.

“It’s that mentality which is a huge problem. When the chips are down, they just go into themselves and don’t expect to win.“

The Villans threw away two goal leads against Bournemouth and Aston Villa with it being fair to criticise the Toffees players and manager in those games.

Dyche has been scrutinised in particular for the club’s form despite an unsure situation surrounding the club’s ownership which appears to be closer to a resolution through Dan Friedkin.

It has to be said that the manager can not be blamed for the results sometimes, especially when players appear to stop playing to their best ability.

Gueye has been picked out by Bardell for one particular moment and there is no excuse given the career experience that he has.

All the players need to pull together at Goodison rather than dropping there heads with stars like the Senegal international needing to do more to help the youngsters.

In other Goodison News, Paul Scholes has made a new relegation admission as an exit verdict has been shared.
