Leeds United have agreed a deal to sign Harry Wilson as a free agent. The midfielder is still technically under contract with Fulham until next week.
Adam Pope revealed that even with an agreement, there are clubs still lurking.
As long as Wilson has not signed a contract, any team can swoop in and sign him. But hopefully, the 49ers have what it takes to wrap up a deal they have been eyeing for months.
Leeds almost signed the Welsh playmaker in the last summer window, but Fulham pulled the plug at the last minute.
Wilson will bring productivity from midfield, having scored 11 goals and provided eight assists last season. Daniel Farke will have a player that can fit in multiple roles in his team.

Harry Wilson often played on the right at Fulham, but can also play behind the striker.
And that looks like the same roles he will take on when he works under Daniel Farke at Leeds United. With the club set to add more midfielders like Julian Brandt and Shea Charles, Wilson will operate as an attacking player.
Last season, Noah Okafor was the best winger at the club looking at the numbers.
Dan James and Wilfried Gnonto on the other hand, were woeful this past season. James could barely stay fit when Farke needed him, while Gnonto just slid down the pecking order with every game.
Wilson’s arrival will most likely mean that one of the two players will leave Elland Road this summer.
Looking at their profiles, it would be easy for the 49ers to move them on in this window. Gnonto would represent ‘pure profit’ – he arrived on a low fee and his value has increased exponentially.
Selling James could help the books too; he has a long contract and a huge salary.
