Max Allegri will not be taking over at Everton as he does not want a job mid-season, according to TEAMtalk.
The news outlet reported on 6 January that the Italian has been looked at by The Friedkin Group to potentially replace Sean Dyche whose future is on the line.
However, thus far, no D-Day talks have been planned with the Toffees manager over his future.

Allegri would be a pretty special appointment if The Friedkin Group manage to pull it off.
Carlo Ancelotti was also a big name coup and while Allegri is not quite at his level, he could use this opportunity to be back in the conversation for the best managers in Europe.
While he’s been at Juventus, he has been criticised for the lack of expansive football but that could be more to do with the league.
In the Premier League, Allegri does seem capable of making the Toffees a team that plays on the front foot and dominates games.
He would also instantly win over the dressing room and command the respect of the players, something that appears to be lacking now.
If made the right proposal, The Friedkin Group may be able to tempt Allegri to join right away as well.
