Everton are in the market to make some improvements to their side this month.
It has not been an easy season for Everton who have seen plenty of changes made behind-the-scenes since the Friedkins took over.
David Moyes has now been handed the responsibility, but he is having to handle a number of injury issues at the club.
The Friedkin Group want to sign two players for Everton this month with the clock now ticking down.
Although Everton do need an improvement to some of the quality at the club, there is also a need to cover some of the injured players.
One of the players who has been out for around a month is Dwight McNeil after a promising start to the campaign.

The absence came as a real surprise with McNeil suffering an injury in Everton training ahead of their draw against Arsenal last month.
Having suffered the knee issue, the midfielder has since missed over a month of football.
But he did share a message on Instagram which could well suggest he is closing in on a return to the action.
Everton take on Brighton & Hove Albion this weekend and McNeil has reposted a clip from the 2022/23 season on the south coast with the caption: ‘Favourite kit’.

The Toffees were, of course, wearing their pink away kit last term and face the same trip south on the weekend.
McNeil has remained fairly quiet on social media throughout his injury absence, and Everton fans will be hoping this may be a sign he is edging closer to a return.
Dwight McNeil injury latest at Everton
Martin Keown has praised McNeil this season for his quality on the ball in what has been a struggling Everton side.
But it has been an unexpectedly long time away from the action for the midfielder.
Speaking ahead of the game against Spurs on the weekend, Moyes provided an update on McNeil’s recovery.
“We’re hoping Dwight isn’t too far away but we’re just waiting on some more information,” said the 60-year-old.
McNeil was one of the Premier League’s top performers earlier in the season as he was showing a creative output only Cole Palmer could match.
After over a month on the sidelines, Everton fans will be hoping for a pleasant surprise on the weekend in seeing him return.
