Leeds United transfer news, rumours and gossip: Live updates and latest on deals, signings, loans and contracts

Leeds United are in advanced talks with Leicester City for James Justin.
The two clubs are discussing a fee for the 27-year-old full-back, who has a year to run on his contract.
The newly-promoted Premier League club are keen to add to their depth in the position.
Justin can operate both as a right-back and a left-back and his arrival would likely allow Issac Schmidt to depart.
Werder Bremen have held talks over a potential loan, but Leeds will not allow him to go without a replacement
Leeds agree deal for Calvert-Lewin
Latest from Sky Sports News’ Zinny Boswell:
Free agent striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin has agreed in principle to join Leeds United.
Calvert-Lewin left Everton upon the expiry of his contract earlier this summer.
He was one of the options Leeds looked at earlier in the summer, however the deal was viewed as a difficult one to do at that stage.
Leeds had been staying patient in their pursuit of Rodrigo Muniz, who has been their top striker target this summer.
However, they were facing a tough task to prise him from Fulham – and then Atalanta made their move.
Sky Sports News reported yesterday that Muniz is keen to explore a move to the Italian club, who are playing in the Champions League next season.
Fulham do not want to sell the striker and would be even more reluctant to send him to a Premier League rival.
Leeds subsequently decided to revisit the potential of a free transfer for Calvert-Lewin.
Leeds join race for Fulham’s Muniz
Latest from Sky Sports’ Zinny Boswell and Lyall Thomas:
Leeds have not given up hope of signing Rodrigo Muniz before the deadline.
Muniz is Leeds’ top striker target and they have remained patient in their pursuit of the Brazilian.
That is despite Fulham’s insistence they will not sell to a Premier League rival and the interest of Champions League club Atalanta.
Fulham do not wish to sell Muniz at all but the player is believed to be keen on exploring a move to Atalanta.
Fulham are looking at strikers on the market and a replacement they feel would be adequate may open up the opportunity for Atalanta or Leeds to make an offer.
MATCH HIGHLIGHTS: LEEDS UNITED 1-1 AC MILAN
Farke: Harrison can win fans back
Leeds United boss Daniel Farke has backed winger Jack Harrison to win fans over after he was booed during the 1-1 draw against AC Milan in Dublin.
Harrison came off the bench against Milan to a strong reception having spent the last two seasons on loan at Everton. The 28-year-old made the move after Leeds had been relegated in 2023, with fans seemingly unhappy that he opted to return to the top flight rather than help the club fight for promotion.
“Of course, when you are away you have to win the supporters back over,” Farke told reporters post-match.
“Jack has all the chances (to win back the fans). He’s a proven Premier League player, he’s a good character, a good age. It’s up to him.
“It is always beneficial for the group if you support the players. Our supporters don’t need my message. If a player works really hard and wants to work for the club or not…I think what he’s done in the pre-season games he has is ready to go.
“If two percent are not convinced, that’s totally okay. I’m sure if he works hard for this club and has good appearances on the pitch, our supporters will be behind him. This will be a natural thing once he delivers good performances.”
Leeds earn Milan draw ahead of PL return
Leeds United came from behind against Italian giants AC Milan in Dublin to earn a 1-1 draw in their final game before a return to the Premier League.
Daniel Farke’s side went behind just after the half-hour as Santiago Gimenez finished from close range after some excellent work down the left-hand side.
However, with a quarter of the game remaining, Anton Starch fired in an equaliser as the Milan goalkeeper was left unsighted by a crowd that impaired his view of the shot which found its way into the far corner.
Leeds will attentions to their first Premier League game of the season at home to Everton, and will be hopeful of a positive result after the Toffees failed to pick up a single win throughout pre-season.
Leeds: Perri; Schmidt, Rodon, Struijk, Gudmundsson; Tanaka, Ampadu, Stanch; James, Piroe, Gnonto.
Subs: Longstaff, Aaronson, Nmecha, Bijol, Ramazani, Byram, Darlow, Harrison, Guev, Gray, Cairns, Chadwick.
Joseph loaned to Mallorca
Mateo Joseph has secured a loan move to Mallorca after requesting to leave Leeds earlier this summer.
Leeds boss Daniel Farke said last month that the 21-year-old wanted to leave Elland Road. He still has three years to run on his deal.
Joseph has made 73 first-team appearances for Leeds.
Leeds receive loan offer for young forward
Latest from Sky Sports News’ Zinny Boswell:
Leeds have received a loan offer for Mateo Joseph from Mallorca.
Although the forward looks likely to join the Spanish club, Leeds are yet to accept the proposal as they assess their options.
They have not shut the door to rival offers, although they have no interest in including a buy option in any deal.
Leeds believe there is little sense in agreeing a purchase option at this stage, given Joseph’s value could increase with an impressive loan spell in Spain and he has three years to run on his deal.
Daniel Farke said last month that the 21-year-old requested to leave Elland Road.
Leeds and West Ham interested in Doak
Latest from Sky Sports News’ Anthony Joseph, Vinny O’Connor, Lyall Thomas and Zinny Boswell:
Leeds and West Ham have expressed an interest in Liverpool winger Ben Doak.
Sky Sports News understands Monaco and Bologna are also monitoring his situation.
Doak is believed to be seeking regular first-team football this season.
Everton and Wolves had been linked with a move for the 19-year-old two months ago, but their interest has cooled recently.
Liverpool have been impressed by Doak’s performances in pre-season and rejected bids of around £20m from Ipswich and Crystal Palace in January.

Atalanta want Fulham striker and Leeds target Muniz
Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz is one of the strikers Atalanta are considering this summer, according to Sky in Italy.
Atalanta have sold Mateo Retegui to Saudi Pro League side Al Qadsiah and are searching for a replacement.
Sky Sports News has previously reported that Muniz is Leeds United’s top striker target.
However, Fulham have no intention of selling the 24-year-old, who effectively has two years left on his contract including a club-held option for 12 months.
Farke looking for full-back depth amid Bogle concern
Leeds boss Daniel Farke has admitted that he is concerned about his depth at full-back going into the new season, amid fitness issues with Jayden Bogle.
The right-back missed the 1-1 draw with Villarreal at Elland Road along with Lucas Perri, Sebastiaan Bornauw, Daniel James and Jack Harrison.
“Jayden Bogle has problems with his hip flexor, it’s a bit of a concern,” said Farke after the game.
“Not sure if I have him available for [the final friendly against] AC Milan, I hope to have him back as soon as possible and for the last week of preparations.
“He’s important for us, he was outstanding last season. On the full-back positions, if there is an injury – I was also sweating a bit when Gabi [Gudmundsson] went down – we’re a bit thin.
“We have to stay aware [for additions in the window] to be ready and competitive in the Premier League with the quality that is needed there.”
Leeds draw with Villarreal in friendly
Leeds drew 1-1 with Spanish outfit Villarreal in a pre-season friendly at a packed Elland Road on Saturday.
On the day of his 26th birthday, substitute Joel Piroe scored Leeds’ equaliser in the second half when he dispatched a loose ball a few minutes after Etta Eyong had put Villarreal in front.
Leeds’ starting line-up included new signings Sean Longstaff, Anton Stach, Gabriel Gudmundsson and Lukas Nmecha, while Jaka Bijol featured as a substitute.
“It feels really nice,” said Piroe of his equaliser. “Something that makes me happy and of course it would have been a little bit better if we had won the game as well, but at the same time I think it was a good game to get ready as well.
“You feel that it is getting closer, that everyone is getting sharper and you really feel that the team as a whole has stepped up a bit as well.”
Leeds make El Khannouss enquiry
Latest from Sky Sports News’ Zinny Boswell:
Leeds United have made enquiries for Leicester City’s attacking midfielder Bilal El Khannouss.
The newly-promoted Premier League club are in the market for a player that can operate on the left and through the middle after missing out on Igor Paixao, who joined Marseille.
Sky Sports News has previously reported that it would take a bid north of £25m for Leicester to consider selling the 21-year-old.
But the Foxes need to sell before they can buy if new boss Marti Cifuentes wants to tweak his squad this summer.
El Khannouss has three years left on his deal at the King Power.
Marseille agree deal for Leeds target Paixao
Latest from Sky Sports News’ Anthony Joseph and Zinny Boswell:
Marseille have agreed a deal to sign Leeds United target Igor Paixao from Feyenoord for £28m plus add-ons.
Sky Sports News understands Leeds upped their offer for a second time on Sunday in negotiations with the Dutch club.
However, Marseille matched the bid and the 25-year-old chose to join the French club, who will be playing in the Champions League next season.
Paixao is now expected to complete the formalities of a move to Marseille.
Leeds are still keen to sign a winger this summer.

Leeds sign Lyon goalkeeper Perri
Leeds have signed Lyon goalkeeper Lucas Perri in a £15.6m (€18m) deal.
The 27-year-old has penned a four-year deal, becoming the seventh confirmed summer addition for Daniel Farke’s side.
Perri played 45 times for Lyon last season, keeping 13 clean sheets and helping them qualify for European football.
Leeds’ new signings:
Anton Stach – Hoffenheim, £17.4m
Sebastiaan Bornauw – Wolfsburg, £5.1m
Lukas Nmecha – Wolfsburg, free
Jaka Bijol – Udinese, £15m

Debayo in demand after Leeds exit
Latest from Sky Sports’ Peter Smith:
Defender James Debayo has interest from a number of clubs in England and Belgium after leaving Leeds United.
The 20-year-old became a free agent this summer after his deal with Leeds expired.
Debayo did not accept Leeds’ offer of a new deal as he wants to search for more first-team opportunities elsewhere.
England youth team centre-back made just one Championship appearance for Leeds last season, appearing as an 89th-minute sub in the 4-3 win at Swansea in November.
He also came off the bench for the final seven minutes of the FA Cup loss to Millwall in February.
Roma express interest in Leeds target Paixao

Now it has emerged Roma are also keen on Paixao.
The Italian club have made their interest known but are yet to make an official offer at this stage.
