Real progressed to the quarter-finals of the competition after scoring early in the second half through striker Gonzalo Garcia’s header. However, it’s a player from the losing side Juventus that has caught the attention of Everton, Newcastle, and Leeds United fans.
Winger Kenan Yildiz, 20, caused a constant threat to Real’s backline throughout the contest. During the 2024/25 season, Yildiz completed 113 take-ons – more than any other Juve player. And amid a collection of relatively challenging seasons for Juve in recent years, the Turkish international has been a rare bright spark.
