The interest in Barcelona rising star Fermin Lopez from clubs in the Premier League continues to grow as we enter the final days of the summer transfer window.
Chelsea, for one, are already making a strong push to sign him from the La Liga champions, who are demanding a sum of €90 million to let their academy ace go.
Now, it appears that more clubs from England have entered the race to sign the Spanish international.
Newcastle going all out for Fermin Lopez
Indeed, according to Jose Alvarez on El Chiringuito TV, Newcastle United are prepared to go all out to sign Fermin Lopez from Barcelona.
The Premier League giants, who will face Barça in the UEFA Champions League group phase this season, are ready to shell out a mammoth fee of €100 million on the 22-year-old attacking midfielder.

Furthermore, the report states that Newcastle would be willing to quadruple the salary that Fermin earns at Barcelona, in order to tempt him to move to St. James’ Park.
The report also states that Tottenham Hotspur have also shown an interest in signing the 2024 Paris Olympics gold medalist with the Spanish national football team.
Fermin, for his part, appears to be hesitant about the idea of leaving Barcelona despite the growing interest from the Premier League.
The youngster and his representatives are understood to be holding crunch talks with sporting director Deco right now to discuss the offers on the table.
With Chelsea making their interest known and clubs like Newcastle United and Tottenham also entering the fray, the last few days of the summer window could be eventful ones for Fermin.
