Wolves have agreed a deal to sign AZ Alkmaar star David Moller Wolfe, with the 23-year-old due to travel for a medical in the next 24 hours, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Vitor Pereira’s side are going through a tricky summer transfer window, having to replace Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri, who joined Manchester United and Manchester City respectively. In the attack, Wolves have managed to strengthen, bringing in Jorgen Strand Larsen, turning his loan move permanent, and Fer Lopez and Jhon Arias, who will provide competition in the wide positions.
Wolves have also lost Nelson Semedo, who recently confirmed that he would be departing at the end of his contract. As a result, Wolves need to be in the market for full-backs, and it appears they are now close to bringing in a new addition for the left-hand side.

Reporting on X, Romano has confirmed that Wolves have agreed a deal to sign 23-year-old Norwegian left-back Moller Wolfe, who is expected to replace Rayan Ait-Nouri. Maller Wolfe will travel to Wolves for a medical in the next 24 hours, with the Midlands club beating Lille to his signature.
It’s a signing that has seemingly come out of nowhere, and will undoubtedly be an exciting one for Wolves supporters. Losing Ait-Nouri was a huge blow for Pereira’s side, but they appear to have found his replacement with a couple of weeks remaining before the 2025/2026 season begins.
There’s no doubt Wolves fans will be demanding more additions between now and the end of the window, but with so many English clubs competing in Europe next campaign, it’s difficult to attract the calibre of players they might be hoping for.
