Crystal Palace have made an approach to Club Brugge for attacker Christos Tzolis, as they pursue options in case Eberechi Eze exits Selhurst Park this summer.
Eze is wanted by Tottenham Hotspur and The Athletic revealed that Palace have approached Leicester City to enquire about playmaker Bilal El Khannouss.
The Morocco international, 21, is high among their option if Eze leaves — with Tzolis emerging as another serious candidate.
Palace have already seen a bid rejected by Brugge but plan to return with an improved bid and also are speaking to the Greece attacker’s representatives.
Tzolis joined the Belgian club from Fortuna Dusseldorf last summer, contributing 21 goals and 14 assists across 56 appearances in his first season.
The 23-year-old has three goals and two assists in seven games so far this campaign and has recently signed a new contract, so Brugge do not intend to sell.
Tzolis started his career at PAOK Thessaloniki before moving to Norwich City in 2021 and gaining Premier League experience.
He was loaned to FC Twente in July 2022 after Norwich were relegated to the Championship but returned the following January to help his parent side.
Fortuna took Tzolis on loan in August 2023 and then activated a buy option 12 months later.
Eze is expected to depart Palace and has told them of his wish to join Spurs, although an agreement is yet to be reached.
