But he insisted he WON’T be sacked after post-match backing from his Ibrox bosses.

Gers fans yelled ‘Martin, Martin Get To F**k’ as they crashed out of the Champions League with a 6-0 humbling to Club Brugge.
Martin spoke of “hurt, humiliation and pain” after the joint biggest margin of defeat in Gers’ 153-year history.
But he claimed he’ll still be in charge for Sunday’s Old Firm clash with Celtic at Ibrox.
Martin said: “We started terribly. The first time they entered our half they scored – the same as the other night – which is just madness.

“We have a man sent off and it makes a difficult task even more difficult. We completely lose our heads before half time.
“A really difficult night got even tougher. It was self-inflicted and I’ve nothing to say other than to apologise to the fans.
“The job of a head coach is to make sure it doesn’t happen again and respond properly. We have to show a big response on Sunday.
“There is not enough harmony or care for each other just yet. We have to try to build that with the group somehow.
“We have to heal and make sure we get stronger through this.
“There’s not enough players who want to fight for each other at the club yet. I’m sure that will change.

“It’s been disruptive. The harmony has been disrupted, for sure.
“I’m talking about the group as a whole, the harmony of the club, the harmony of us. We need to be much better.
“I apologise. It’s nowhere near acceptable. It’s really humiliating tonight.”
On the fans’ chants, Martin added: “I can’t say anything. I apologise for the performance.
“They have been great. The only way we can respond to them is by winning the game and having a performance on Sunday to build on.”
Asked if he feared for his job, he said: “No. Patrick (Stewart) and Kevin (Thelwell), I’ve had a chat with them already, and they are amazingly supportive.
“They understand this may take time. They knew that before we came in. They understand the club’s position.
“The only thing we can do tonight is accept the pain, accept the humiliation, accept the hurt that we all should feel and use it as fuel.”
