Lack of transfer activity this summer has the Celtic fans fuming so it makes sense that Rodgers isn’t entirely happy.
And the Celtic manager hasn’t exactly been shy in vocalising his discontentment.
Well, that is if you believe the rumour he has been told.
Dermot Desmond wanted Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers to ‘apologise’
The boys on The Celtic Underground were speaking about Rodgers and the board when this came up.
The rumour goes, “I’ve been getting these lurid, like texts with lurid rumours just before we come on here, about the machinations behind the scenes.
“Is anybody hearing the same kind of things about Dermot Desmond demanding that Brendan Rogers apologise to the board this week?
He demanded he didn’t do his Sky interview. Rogers refused. Anybody be hearing all these things?
“Right. There was the meeting, we did hear that ourselves. We did hear that within our chat about the all-day meeting, because Dermot Desmond’s over in the country.”
Quite the story right? Yeah, Celtic fans didn’t believe it either.

@jangusburt wasn’t having any of it and replied, “You should need a license to podcast, what a bloody embarrassment.”
@1AndyGilchrist shut this daft rumour down and said, “What a waste of 1 minute and 37 seconds.”
Quite why this sort of nonsense is being spread about is beyond me. Bet he wished he never bother ed talking about it now.
