UEFA have confirmed that Rangers have been fined 20,000 Euros and banned from selling away tickets for their next European game.
The decision comes after Gers supporters in the away end of their Champions League play-off against Club Brugge, lit and threw fireworks.
Rangers were thrashed 9-1 on aggregate in that match on aggregate, and lost that specific game 6-0.
However, it is a suspended sentence of two years.
In a statement, UEFA said: “The CEDB has decided: To fine Rangers FC €20,000 and to ban Rangers FC from selling tickets to its away supporters for the next one (1) UEFA competition match, for lighting of fireworks. Said ban from selling tickets to its away supporters is suspended during a probationary period of two (2) years, starting from the date of the present decision.”
