But the former Manchester United forward might have to back down on his previous comments because Solskjaer has now been linked with the Rangers gig.
After Rangers sacked Russell Martin, they have been searching far and wide for a new manager, especially after Steven Gerrard rejected a return to Ibrox.
If it so happens that is Solskjaer, it will be interesting to see what he says about Celtic now because, previously, he has shown nothing but love for Scotland’s most successful club.

Back in 2015, Solskjaer was the manager of Molde, and his side faced Celtic in the Europa League – Molde won both legs.
Solskjaer, who scored against the Hoops as a Manchester United player in 2006, never got to play at Celtic Park as a player.
That rankled with him, and that’s why, when he went to Celtic as the Molde manager, he told his players that he was ‘envious’ of them playing in Paradise.
“It is a fantastic place to play football and I am sure all the boys are looking forward to it,” said Solskjaer in 2015, as quoted by Sky Sports.
“I have only been here as a spectator before. I never had the chance to walk out to the pitch, so in one way, I am very envious of the players who will feel the atmosphere tomorrow night.
“The atmosphere here could probably match the top clubs in the world like Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid.”
Solskjaer on going to Celtic with Roy Keane
Roy Keane spent only six months in Celtic colours, but it was a memorable spell, including winning two trophies and winning at Ibrox.
The legendary midfielder has a lot of love for Celtic, and Solskjaer shared what it was like going to watch the champions of Scotland as a spectator, alongside Keane.
“I was here with Roy Keane to watch a couple of games, and it is fantastic, it is like football should be,” added Solskjaer.
“It was a Champions League game, if I remember correctly – they never asked for tickets from Roy, they just opened the door so he could walk straight through.
“Celtic was always the team to go to when my team-mates had testimonial games, Roy, for example. There was a fantastic atmosphere between the clubs and supporters, and it is one of the stadiums I wished I had played in.”
