Danny Rohl will need reinforcements to help aid his quest to turn Rangers’ current season around.
Rangers prevailed in a 1-0 victory over Hibernian at Easter Road on Wednesday in what ended up being a solid defensive display.
Danilo netted Rangers’ only goal of the game, in a performance which could see him start more frequently for the Gers moving forward.
Rohl landed at Ibrox in the hope of saving the Gers’ season, and after Rangers’ 3-1 win over Kilmarnock and victory over Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership, that all seems possible.
The new Gers manager may now just need to make a few tweaks to guarantee lasting success.

Danny Rohl wants to sign Sheffield Wednesday’s Bailey Cadamarteri
Rohl is keen to exploit the financial crisis at his former club Sheffield Wednesday by signing striker Bailey Cadamarteri, according to Sports Boom on 29 October.
The report, which is also referenced in the Yorkshire Post, states that the new Gers boss has instructed the Rangers hierarchy to begin piecing together a proposed deal for one of “the Championship’s most exciting young talents.”
Indeed, the youngster came close to leaving South Yorkshire over the summer, with Manchester City one of the interested parties.
However, Cadamarteri stayed put and has started in 9 out of 12 Championship games this season. During that period, he has netted once from 1.82 expected goals per game, according to Sofascore.

Despite his slow start to the season, Rangers could be best positioned to obtain his signature, given that Rohl’s time at Hillsborough means that he has detailed knowledge of the fee it would take to sign him.
With the Gers keen on bolstering their attack, Cadamarteri could be next in line to arrive at Ibrox.

What can Bailey Cadamarteri bring to Ibrox under Danny Rohl
Rohl’s first season at Sheffield Wednesday was, in fact, the season Cadamarteri broke into the senior team.
Before that, he had spent several seasons climbing their academy ranks, notably netting three goals in six games in the FA Youth Cup during this period.
However, Rohl gave Cadamarteri a chance during the 2023/24 season, where he went on to net four goals and provide one assist in 23 Championship games.
He was then loaned to League One side Lincoln City the following season, scoring eight goals in 31 league matches.
Technical, intelligent and effective would be three words to describe Cadamarteri.
Indeed, the young striker is intelligent in his movement off the ball, often looking to create space for his teammates in attack. This feeds into his effective link-up play and noticeable scoring instinct.
He often looks to exploit the space left behind the opposition’s defence by making runs into the box and is purposeful in his positioning. All things considered, while Cadamarteri is far from the finished product, he will definitely be one for the future if signed.

Scott McTominay is said to be weighing up a return to the Premier League
Newcastle United have been linked with an audacious move for former Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay amid reports that he is keen to return to the Premier League.
The Scotland international has enjoyed a hugely successful move to Napoli, helping the Italian side win the Serie A title last season.
He is now linking up with the likes of Kevin de Bruyne and Ramus Hojlund in Italy, with Antonio Conte’s men joint top of the Serie A table with Roma.
However, reports emerged over the weekend that he could look to return to the UK for family reasons in the near future, prompting speculation over his potential next destination.
McTominay will turn 29 later this year, and perhaps does fit in with Newcastle’s blueprint of identify young talent with the careers ahead of them.
However, he would offer Eddie Howe excellent experience at both Premier League and European level, and could add even more competitiveness to their midfield options.
Newcastle do have money to spend in the January transfer window should they wish to invest further following their summer business, although Howe already has Lewis Miley, Jacob Ramsey and Joe Willock as back-up options for Sandro Tonali, Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton.
Bookmakers Betfair have installed Newcastle as the 5/1 favourites to sign McTominay should he leave Napoli, with Chelsea and Arsenal also featured in the market.
Betfair spokesperson James Mackie said: “Newcastle have emerged as the favourites to sign Scott McTominay amid reports the Napoli star is keen to return to England despite lifting the Serie A title last season.
“Eddie Howe’s side are the 5/1 frontrunners to land the Scotland international, while Chelsea follow at 15/1 and Juventus 17/1. McTominay is 18/1 to join Premier League leaders Arsenal, with a move to Man City 20/1.
“Meanwhile, the 28-year-old is 25/1 to make a shock return to Old Trafford and 33/1 to join Jude Bellingham at Real Madrid.”
